No matter if your route includes city traffic, winding back roads, or changing weather conditions, both the GV60 and the Model Y come standard with rear-wheel drive (RWD) and offer available all-wheel drive (AWD) to provide added traction and confidence when it’s needed most.

Beyond their drivetrain options, each EV lets you tailor its driving characteristics through selectable drive modes. The Tesla Model Y includes two standard modes (Chill and Standard), while its Performance AWD model adds a third (Insane). The Genesis GV60, however, offers four distinct drive modes with a refinement that reflects its luxury-focused design:

The Tesla Model Y offers a limited palette of three grayscale tones on its standard lineup, expanding to six more muted options on Premium and Performance variants. The Genesis GV60, however, is available in eight distinct exterior colors, including expressive shades such as Capri Blue, Tromsø Green, and Mauna Red. Notably, Tesla’s lineup does not include a green exterior option.

Both the Genesis GV60 and the Tesla Model Y offer climate-controlled seating for year-round comfort. The GV60, however, elevates long-distance relaxation with an available 14-position power-adjustable Ergo Motion driver’s seat featuring massage functionality.

The Model Y uses a combination of textile and vegan leather, with perforated vegan leather available on upper trims. The GV60 comes standard with sustainable leatherette as well but offers available Nappa leather for an even more premium feel and upscale cabin environment.

Interior color and trim options further distinguish the two SUVs. The Genesis GV60 provides a broader range of two-tone interior combinations, including Ash Gray and Glacier White, Aqua Green and Galaxy Black, and Sky Blue and Prussian Blue. By comparison, Tesla offers a more limited two-tone approach centered solely on black and white configurations.

Seamless Digital Experience

As expected, both the Genesis GV60 and the Tesla Model Y include wireless smartphone integration, wireless device charging, and voice-activated virtual assistants that respond to natural voice commands. The Model Y includes three USB-C ports, while the GV60 offers four, providing added flexibility for passengers throughout the cabin.

Both models integrate their instrument cluster and central infotainment display into a single, streamlined interface, with a clear difference in scale and presentation the moment you enter the cabin:
