We visited several dealerships since my wife’s lease was ending and she wanted to check out the GV70. Out of all the places we went, this was by far the most comfortable experience. There was no pressure at all. Ernie really focused on what we actually needed and wanted, and guided us through the process like a professional. One thing that stood out was how well Ernie knew the car. He walked us through all the features and clearly explained the differences between trims, so we truly understood what we were getting. Also, I can be pretty picky when it comes to choosing the right car for my wife, and we test drove multiple vehicles. Ernie never showed any hesitation or made us feel uncomfortable or rushed. Unlike some other dealerships, he was patient the whole time and made it easy for us to take our time. Honestly, we even had a better deal from another brand (not Genesis), but we still came back here because of how we were treated. Ernie never tried to force anything. He just made everything smooth and easy. Also, thanks to Vito for helping us secure a great deal in the end. The level of service from both Ernie and Vito felt like what you would expect from a true luxury brand. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are considering a Genesis. Having had a really really poor experience at another Genesis dealer in Rocklin CA, so my expectations were low. Wow, this dealer is the real deal. Edwin thoroughly inspected the vehicle and saw that the window trim was not looking good and decided to replace the trim at no expense. Without an ask from me, he offered a car so that I could return home while the car was being serviced. If you’re wondering if Genesis is a luxury brand worth buying, look no further than this dealer. Everything about it screams luxury to include the top notch service, the coffee bar in the lounge and the competent service advisors. The dealership - Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos was well-organized, and the consultant Chris Chang and Alex Kim who assisted me was extremely friendly; they took care of various issues I encountered and shared a wealth of useful information. The entire process—from returning my previous vehicle to signing a new lease—felt far more comfortable and enjoyable than my experiences with other dealerships.

My only complaint about this experience was that when I spoke on the phone with the associate, they said the price was the same at the dealership. When I got in- it was a little over $1000 more and they would not match the price online and required me to add the KAR security system. Left with a car, but it was over my initial budget due to the cost of the REQUIRED security system. At that point, the price of the system needs to be in the dealership price already since it actually isn’t OPTIONAL like the website says OR like the security system paperwork says. I had to sign a piece of paper notating that I was aware I was purchasing an OPTIONAL security system- when in fact the dealership was requiring me to do it in order to leave with the car.

As newcomers to the Genesis line, we appreciated the time they took to walk us through the different models and clearly explain the entire process. Ali did an outstanding job quickly understanding our needs and payment goals and efficiently getting us exactly where we wanted to be. Isaac was equally impressive, patiently and thoroughly explaining every feature of the vehicle, including service and maintenance, and taking the time to hook up my phone and demonstrate all the details. I recently had work done on my 2023 G90 at Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos and they did an excellent job. I had it serviced and I also complained of a rattle which it has had for a long time. The rattle only happened when driving over certain sharp bumps. When I took it in, I asked for someone to go on a test drive with me so I could try to point out the rattle. The shop foreman rode with me, but I was frustrated that I didn't really hear the rattle during the test drive. The dealership had previously replaced the front passenger headrest in an attempt to cure the rattle. This time, they replaced the rear window sunshade because they determined that a rattle was coming from it. When I picked up my car, I asked if the foreman could go on another test drive with me. I had to wait a while for this, so I drove around the neighborhood near the dealership for over an hour trying to find a place with the right kind of bumps so that the rattle would happen. I was thrilled that the foreman and I clearly heard the rattle happen on this second test drive. He even commented that the rattle was rather loud. They checked my car back in and provided me with another nice loan car. This time they replaced the seat frame for the seatback of the passenger seat. I think they have succeeded in repairing the rattle this time and I enjoy driving my car even more now that it is blessedly quiet. I am grateful that the dealership and Genesis invested a lot of time, effort and money into repairing my car. It was all free to me because it was covered by warranty. I am always impressed when a company goes out of their way to honor their warranty rather than making excuses for why they didn't.

We stopped by Norm Reeves Genesis in Cerritos today to look at a Mercedes and two BMWs. I had an appointment to see Nate who was waiting for us when we arrived. Nate was very friendly and accommodating and his customer service skills were stellar. One of the BMWs was in the back or their new location and filthy from a landscape construction project next door, the Mercedes was being worked on as a technician was repairing and detailing the wheels. The other BMW was at a lot about a mile away and had just been taken in and the detailed had the key so we could not drive it. My suggestion would be that before advertising a vehicle online (1) make sure it is clean and presentable and (2) make sure the key is available. I felt bad for Nate as he may have made a sale but the system failed him as he was in no way at fault here but the dealership should truly make sure that advertised vehicles are ready for sales representatives to show without embarrassment. The Genesis vehicles were beautiful but my wife was set on a used BMW, Mercedes and Lexus. The price points are decent except for the dealer adds that most customers never want or ask for. I am giving Nate 4 stars for his professionalism and efforts yet subtracting one star as the dealership as new as it is needs a bit of improvement. We ended up buying at Lexus down the street.

We initially purchased our GV70 from Genesis Of Corona, but my home location puts me in between Cerritos and Ontario. (Pasadena was closer but I was not impressed with the store which seem like an after thought. Not surprised to learn that they had closed their doors). Norm Reeves Genesis was on a back extension of Hyundai, it was simple but sufficient, sharing Hyundai Service bay and staff. I was met with a friendly approach even though we were just checking out the facility. Ontario then recently opened Genesis of Ontario and although the facility was top notch, at least with the modern brand new showroom and service bay- however I did not feel a warm welcome when we visited. Maybe because I drive a low trim GV70? It was a bit stand offish. I did call Ontario for an appointment but never received a call back or follow up. So I decided to choose Norm Reeves Genesis. On my first visit, service rep Kyle was very helpful and helped me with getting my purchased maintenance package activated and in order - which was sold from 3rd party by Corona of Genesis. And he also realized that since I purchased a demo car , which was serviced by Corona, he resetted my service interval and made a new mileage target for the “10k” service. On my first 10k visit , Edwin Rivas picked up where Kyle had left off and had my maintenance package noted and successfully applied to my service work and labor. Great! Fast forward 10k miles for my 20k service - I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Genesis of Cerritos have moved to a brand new dedicated Genesis Showroom and Service. I was delighted to see Edwin Rivas and he handled my service and maintenance arrangements without flaw. Everyone at Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos was courteous and friendly. The facility was modern, clean comfortable and accommodating. It truly adds to your Genesis ownership experience. Definitely a recommended store for anyone in SoCal Foothill area.

On 1/2/24, I bought a new 2023 G90 from Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos. The purchase experience was good, with no hard selling. The Service Advisor couldn't be nicer when I see her in person. However, when I call her, I get a message that says the best way to reach her is to send her a text message. When I send her a text, she only replies when she has good news for me. I think she should reply to every text. The only significant problem that I have had with the car is that when I drive over sharp bumps, I hear rattling. After waiting several months for the part to arrive, the dealership installed a new headrest on the front passenger seat, which was supposed to stop the rattling. After this repair, I let the Service Advisor know that I still heard rattling, but the dealership didn't do anything more, and that was months ago. In my experience, Longo Lexus is much better at resolving these kinds of problems than Genesis of Cerritos. Overall, I like the G90. I like that the handling is more agile than my previous car, a Lexus LS460.

After about a month of communicating I finally had time off to check it out. I've been searching for a G90 5.0 for a while and just when I had just about given up Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos got one in stock. After about a month of communicating I finally had time off to check it out. When I arrived, Ernesto greeted me with a firm handshake and was incredibly informative about the car and how the process of buying a car was going to go. He was not the typical salesman you run into at most dealerships, but rather more along the lines of an advisor. To elaborate on that point, he advised me on what my options were to be to purchase, finance, and what packages I would be interested in. I never felt rushed, pressured or like I was being taken advantage of. This truly was a rare experience and what seems to be the standard for this dealership. I had previously visited a few Mercedes dealerships to check out their used S class cars, and they were pushy, interested in signing you up for all of the packages and demanding. Not only did I like the G90 better, but I also felt this dealership experience was far better. Vito helped us out to finish the sales process and he was also super informative, professional and an overall pleasant person to work with. While we were there we dropped off my wife's Tasman Blue G70 for service. They changed the oil, washed it and were great to talk to while waiting for the car. Overall this was the best dealership experience I've ever had. They didn't even ask me to write a review, but I felt this visit warranted one. Easily a 5 star experience, and they exceeded all expectations. If I'm ever up in the area I will 100% be stopping by for service, or just to thank the employees for being so amazing. Hope this review helps whoever is looking for a car. Even buying a used car I didn't feel like the experience was any less premium than buying new. This place is amazing!

Review update 1/30/26: I'm now realizing the visit that triggered my first review was an aberration. There might be two reasons for that. *They had just recently moved into a new location and I may have fallen through the cracks that one time while everyone was still getting scheduled. *I think I might have been having a bad day. My most recent handful of visits have been fantastic. Mary (or is it Mariela) has been fantastic to work with and I have no reservations about going here in the future. -Original review around June 2025- Horrible service customer service. About a month ago I tried to get ahold of a service advisor to answer some questions about an upcoming service appointment. I called 4x and always waited on hold for 5min just to be told they would call me back. Only 1 out of 4 times did I get a phone call. Dropped my car off this morning for a scheduled warranty issue appointment. I was told that I didn’t have an appointment and that they weren’t taking “walk ins”. I needed to show proof that I had a confirmed appointment. Service closes at 6p so at 4p I called to get an update, again told an advisor will call me back asap. I had to call 4x and each time wait on hold to only be told they will call me back. 6p came and went with no communication at all. When I called at 6:10 I was told everyone was gone. I requested the Genesis service manager or dealer GM call me to discuss but got brushed off. It is common courtesy to check in at EOB with an update. Absolutely unprofessional!!! A nice sleek expensive new building is nice but I’d rather the dealership look like a DMV and run by competent people.

From the moment I walked into the showroom to the time my 2026 GV70 was delivered I received nothing but the best service, interaction with all the team, welcoming of my little dog Grandpa Gus, and purchasing an excellent vehicle. No salesman is better than Isaac. Attentive, informative, and best of all reliable.

I have been looking for a new car for a few months and my experience at Norm Genesis was night and day compared to some other dealerships I tried to work with. Norm Reeves Cerritos is the best for Genesis! Kyle Predmore, their car service manager, always provides the best service whenever we bring our cars in. I left my favorite sunglasses in one of their rental cars which left me in a panic, but Kyle responded quickly letting me know it’s safe in their hands😭 There’s a reason why my family drives all the way to OC from Pasadena for this specific Genesis location.
