Genesis G90 Maintenance Schedule

Genesis G90 Maintenance Schedule

Getting the most out of your 2021 Genesis G90 as you take it on adventures throughout Cerritos, Long Beach, and West Covina, CA, is important. You’ll want to follow through on the recommended maintenance and service to ensure that its needs are met, so it can continue its strong performance. You’ll need to follow the Genesis G90 maintenance schedule.

At Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos, we’re here to help you learn more about the services, inspections, and replacements that your G90 will need over the years and miles.

What Is a Maintenance Schedule?

Your vehicle’s maintenance schedule is a guide that illustrates the various services and inspections that your vehicle requires during its lifespan. These services are broken down into mileage intervals; mileage is the best form of measurement because not every driver is the same.

You’ll need to have these services met during these mileage intervals, and you’ll need them repeated each time you hit that mileage again.

G90 Maintenance Schedule

  • Service Oil Check7,500 Miles—During this first service interval, you’ll need to have your engine oil and oil filter replaced; your climate control air filter replaced; your tires rotated; and an inspection of several of your vehicle components including your braking system, vacuum hose, battery condition, air conditioner, exhaust system, suspension components, steering gear rack, and more.
  • 15,000 Miles—At this point, you’ll need all of the services above performed. However, you’ll add a few new inspections including your vapor hose, fuel tank air filter, and your fuel filter. You’ll also need your parking brake inspected.
  • 30,000 Miles—When you reach this mileage, you’ll have a lot of the same features performed in order to keep your vehicle in great shape. However, this visit will add an air cleaner filter replaced and a replacement of your brake fluid.
  • 60,000 Miles—At 60,000 miles, you’ll need to have your drive belts inspected on top of the other services and inspections that are due. You’ll need to inspect your drive belts every 15,000 miles after this visit, and replaced if necessary.
  • 97,500 Miles—While there are many services to have performed at this mileage, the one that stands out and gets added is the replacement of your spark plugs.
  • 120,000 Miles—If you’ve kept up with service and maintenance over the miles, you should reach this interval. At this point, you’ll need to have your engine coolant replaced. You’ll need to continue to replace your engine coolant every 30,000 miles after that.
