The Genesis G70 and the C-Class both come equipped with standard Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™, HD Radio®, Sirius XM® Radio, multiple USB ports, large central touchscreens, and voice control. However, only the Genesis G70 includes integrated navigation as standard equipment, while the C-Class requires an available upgrade.

Both models also offer convenient access technologies, including digital key capability and HomeLink® or compatible transceivers that can be programmed to operate garage doors, automatic gates, home security systems, exterior lighting, and other RF-controlled devices. In addition, each provides a connected services app with remote functionality, vehicle care, and safety features:

The Genesis G70 extends that ownership experience with a complimentary trial that lasts three times longer than the C-Class. The G70’s version also includes Valet Mode and Valet Alert, allowing owners to monitor driving time, distance traveled, top speed, and other vehicle activity whenever someone else is behind the wheel. At the same time, Valet Mode helps safeguard personal information, including stored navigation data, while the vehicle is in another driver's possession.

Both the Genesis G70 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class feature a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance technologies. However, the G70 includes several standard safety features that are either optional on the C-Class or not offered at all, including Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert.

While adaptive cruise control is available on the C-Class, the Genesis G70 includes it as standard. The G70 also enhances highway driving with Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control – Curve, which uses map data to anticipate upcoming curves and automatically adjust vehicle speed. By comparison, the C-Class system responds primarily to surrounding traffic rather than changes in road geometry.

Warranty coverage also plays an important role in long-term ownership confidence, and here again, the Genesis G70 sets itself apart. Unlike traditional luxury warranty structures, the Genesis G70 includes a dedicated powertrain warranty covering major components such as the engine and transmission. The Genesis G70 also includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The C-Class offers no complimentary maintenance, although buyers may purchase prepaid maintenance plans.
